Patrick and Gel are considered to be me and Steve’s, or the color artistry’s “first wedding”. Gel wanted her hair down for her wedding, and her make up made like Marian Rivera’s Metro magazine cover. We made a compromise of what she wants and of what we think will work for her. I still made her make up the bridal way: clear complexion, glowing and radiant skin with a flush color. The Marian-like aspect I followed is the white eyeliner at the bottom lashline. About her hair, since she’s wearing a veil, Steve suggested to have her hair up first for the church ceremony then just putting her hair down like she wanted at the reception, since having the hair down tends to look messy under the veil.
I would like to thank Patrick and Gel, for trusting us and giving us a chance to be part of their big day. It was such a pleasure to be able to work with such a nice and soft spoken couple and by making our “first wedding” memorable.
